Procedure Overview

Since the introduction of dental implants to North America in the 1980’s, dental implants have enjoyed great success. However, it has become evident that the same periodontal diseases that affect teeth can affect dental implants as well.

Peri-implantitis is defined as inflammation of the tissue around the dental implant and is commonly found in patients who have periodontal disease.

At Blueridge OMS, we work closely with your dentist and a network of practitioners including periodontists in managing peri-implantitis and assist in increasing the longevity of implants.

At Blueridge OMS we take pride in providing the best care possible.Your safety, privacy and comfort are of the utmost importance.
